700c Hyper E-Ride City Electric Bike

I think Apple started us down a path of non-removable batteries that a lot of electronics manufacturers have adopted but, the trouble with that is that it isn’t user friendly. With the Hyper MTB Ebike, you can charge your bike with the battery installed or removed, which I personally love. If you ride your bike for the day and take your battery down to zero, you can still use your bike as a standard rider while your battery is back at camp or home charging up. The Hyper MTB Ebike is honestly one of the most reasonably priced Ebikes that I have come across while scouring the web. One of the biggest things that we were looking for was a bike that was a fit physically and also had enough capability to haul additional weight for our gear when hunting. Admittedly, neither of us are in peak physical condition, sitting around the 220 LBS mark for personal weight, but the bike has a rider capacity of 275 LBS which is more than enough.

Even when we tried contacting both the seller and manufacturer they didn’t want to just ship a part out, they instead wanted us to ship the entire thing back and gives us a whole new bike set. That would have been fine, but we had already assembled most of the mountain bike and we didn’t want to repack the entire thing just to ship it out and get another mountain bike that we would have to reassemble. It loses three points for the small defects and bad customer service from the manufacturer and seller. The bike gears and peddles are slightly stiff, hyper bike but I am sure it will loosen up with a bit of oiling and riding.

The Hyper Havoc FS mountain bike is 26″ in size, it is a 21 speed mountain bike, with Shimono gear shifters. It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so.

The trouble with ATVs is of course the amount of noise they make when you are using them. With that in mind, we started looking at alternative travel methods that would have a little bit more stealth for our early morning approaches to our tree stands. Ebikes have been growing in popularity in the last few years and are being used for a number of different applications from daily commutes to trail riding. Brands have even popped up who are tailoring their Ebikes towards hunters but, there is just one problem, they are really expensive. When I say expensive, I mean you could buy an Ebike that costs more than a well equipped, brand new ATV.

Hyper Bike Company has a really large offering for everyone in the family, with bikes for kids and adults. Both the Hyper eBikes and standard bikes are sold exclusively at Walmart so, you can hyper bicycles do your searching on their website or Walmart’s website. Both sites will have full product details and descriptions as well as a ton of images of each bike. Last year we locked in a 320 acre hunting lease in Northern Michigan for whitetail hunting.

The lease has a mix of dense woods and clearings with minimal trails throughout the property. Last year we had access to an ATV which was perfect for traversing the property when we were getting ready for hunting season and also a great way to transport hunters from our basecamp to their tree stand. Extensions of time were granted in 2022 and 2023 to allow for fact-finding and expert exploration. In June 2023, Hyper submitted a motion for summary judgment, which was granted by the Court in August 2023.

This bike is quiet, so I have been able to get close to some of the wildlife roaming in these parts, (wild hogs, turkeys,etc.). I ride this bike almost every day and the battery has not given out on me so far. I have used this bike to help round up my neighbors cows from the orange groves when ever they decide to take a tour. I am very satisfied with this bike and I recommend it to anyone who likes to ride a bike without all the hassles of having to do all the peddling yourself. If you plan to run your bike down, the charge time from flat is also in the 4 hour range as well.

I would recommend this bike if you are on a budget and need basic transportation for getting around because it does the job and serves its purpose. As far as cheap mountain bikes go, overall the Havoc Hyper FS mountain bike isn’t really all that bad. Hyper Bicycles also established an ongoing commitment to supporting riders and the sport through sponsorships of individuals and teams. One of the first Riders to benefit from Hyper sponsorship was Eric Carter, who helped position Hyper Bicycles as a leader in BMX racing by capturing a National Championship as well as being an excellent spokesperson and promoter of the brand.
