The construction of the Comfort Chair is very solid and robust and this is reflected in the weight of the chair. The steel frame is robust and well built, with a deep seat for relaxing in front of the campfire or for just watching the world go by in the back garden. Great for trips to the park, camping, outdoor sporting events, gardening, grocery shopping and much more! The accordion style floor makes set up and break down a breeze. The rider’s cockpit is roomy and the seat tube angle is ideal for powering the pedals.
The real fly in the ointment for most test riders lies in the rear brake’s feel and performance. Since these are mechanical disc brakes, they are only as good as the cable connecting them. In the case of the front brake with its shorter, straighter cable routing, it works well. The first and most striking thing is the fork’s performance. Without a real damper of any sort, the fork picks up small trail hack quite well, but as speeds increase, so did our distrust in the front end. It tends to rebound uncontrollably from bigger hits, and it tops out with a clunk when you leave the ground on jumps.

The Ozark Trail is a hiking, backpacking, and, in many places, biking and equestrian trail under construction in the Missouri Ozarks in the United States. Over 350 miles (563 km) of the trail have been completed as of 2008, and the estimated length when finished will be at least 500 miles (805 km). When joined to the Ozark Highlands Trail in Arkansas, the full hiking distance from end to end will be at least 700 miles (1,127 km), not including a large loop through the St. Francois Mountains in Missouri. The Ozark Trail Association was founded in 2002, and has added more than 50 miles of trail to date, most constructed by volunteers. The association continues to maintain and expand the Ozark Trail.

All that said, we wish the rear brake worked better, and it could with better cable routing.
Most other chairs in its price range don’t match its quality, features, or reputation. Stumps, stools, boulders, and picnic tables are fine for sitting briefly outdoors. But if you want to kick back and stay comfy, the right camping chair can make all the difference.
