Stumps, stools, boulders, and picnic tables are fine for sitting briefly outdoors. But if you want to kick back and stay comfy, the right camping chair can make all the difference. Cots generally have a lot of space underneath them compared to other sleeping options. This means that cold air will be able to draft underneath your cot and usually through the mesh bottom of it and this will eventually reach you. The Ozark Trail XXL Director chair is a good, if somewhat basic, director’s style camp chair offered by a company with a solid reputation in the market. While it has a few shortcomings, these are generally easy to fix and overlook.

I also learned the hard way that you need to watch how you sit on the cots when they are set up, depending upon how they are constructed.
