The next problem is that the bike seat is hard and uncomfortable, if you only ride short distances it isn’t a problem, but if you do between 2 through 5 miles you will start to feel it. I have tightened it a few times and it now finally stays in place, but it can be dangerous when it randomly slides over while riding. In terms of the 20 mile claim, we were able to easily accomplish this in city streets with minimal inclines.
Even when we tried contacting both the seller and manufacturer they didn’t want to just ship a part out, they instead wanted us to ship the entire thing back and gives us a whole new bike set. That would have been fine, but we had already assembled most of the hyper bike mountain bike and we didn’t want to repack the entire thing just to ship it out and get another mountain bike that we would have to reassemble. It loses three points for the small defects and bad customer service from the manufacturer and seller. The bike gears and peddles are slightly stiff, but I am sure it will loosen up with a bit of oiling and riding.
The court concluded that Lu’s counsel should have known the claim was meritless after Lu’s admission about lack of proof of infringing sales. Thus, Hyper was awarded fees and costs only from that date forward, barring evidence the suit was filed in bad faith originally or Lu engaged in misconduct. This bike is quiet, so I have been able to get close to some of the wildlife roaming in these parts, (wild hogs, turkeys,etc.). I ride this bike almost every day and the battery has not given out on me so far. I have used this bike to help round up my neighbors cows from the orange groves when ever they decide to take a tour. I am very satisfied with this bike and I recommend it to anyone who likes to ride a bike without all the hassles of having to do all the peddling yourself. If you plan to run your bike down, the charge time from flat is also in the 4 hour range as well.
